So where did it begin? Another day of in port operations with temporary dewatering. Shortly after taking it down you have to drain the residual water in the hose. This is where the fun begins. Disconnecting the hose causes a ~1” stream of that sweet succulent bilge water covering my body head to toe. Soaking my coveralls with essentially all forms of hepatitis and other ailments.

From that day forward the idea was born. Aft Bilge Juice. My mission was I have to share how good the fast attack submarine lifestyle is.

With one deployment and plenty of underways and fun experiences later, i’ve decided to share some of those experiences with y’all (in the form of some shirts).

Some who know me personally know I used to carry around a red notebook to jot down any funny quotes, ideas, and experiences that happen on the boat.

I hope everyone can experience the same things that ive been able to experience in the fleet. Just remember, cherish the good moments and learn from the hard times.
